Washington’s Crossing Challenge

CCI02252016_0003$2000 in prize money for Beginner Novice through Training level!  Separate Jr/AA and Pro divisions.

The Washington Crossing Challenge is a series of five USEA recognized events located in area II.  There is no fee to register, competitors must ride in a minimum of three of the following competitions:

Bucks County Horse Park HT, June 18, 2017
Horse Park of New Jersey HT I, July 1-2, 2017
Horse Park of New Jersey HT II, July 28-30, 2017
Bucks County Horse Park Fall HT, September 10, 2017
ESDCTA New Jersey HT at the Horse Park, October 1, 2017

Divisions:

  • Jr/AA Beginner Novice
  • Jr/AA Novice
  • Jr/AA Training
  • Pro Division

Rules:

Competitors must register a horse/rider combination and then submit scores for that combination from three completed horse trials to the Series Secretary.  Registration and scores must be received by Series Secretary by October 15, 2017.  There is no cost to register or submit scores.

Points will be determined by averaging the top three scores for each competitor.  Therefore, low scores not needed for the 3 score average will be dropped.  There are no points awarded for withdrawal or elimination.

Jr/AA Divisions:  Horse/rider combination must complete three horse trials at a single level (Beginner Novice, Novice, Training).  During the 2017 Eventing season, horse/rider combinations may compete at not more than one level higher than award level.

Jr/AA Prize monies of $1200 will be offered.  At each of the three levels, the Series High Point Horse/Rider will receive $250; second place at each level will receive $150.

Pro Division:  Horse/rider combination must complete three horse trials at any combination of the offered levels (Beginner Novice, Novice, Training). Only one set of prize monies will be awarded.

Pro Division Prize monies of $800 will be offered.  High Point Horse/Rider will receive $500; second place will receive $300.Awards would be announced at ESDCTA and BCHP awards dinners.
